Madison and Jacob's luxury wedding celebration at Lake Lanier Islands was a celebration with so much heart. These two chose Lake Lanier as a destination venue for their families to travel to and enjoy together. The lake was the perfect place for these two to celebration their wedding weekend.
Both Madison and Jacob got ready at the cabins on Lake Lanier Island property before their Legacy Pointe ceremony and reception. The day was threatened by rain for week, but it ended up being the sunniest wedding we've had in ages! They joked that they prayed for no rain, but forgot to pray for a little bit of shade.
The tented reception area at Legacy Pointe was perfect for them and their guests. The head table was one of my favorite design elements from their reception was gorgeous tall vases of white flowers and gold accents. The best touch was the personalized letters to each individual guest as place cards.
What We Loved About Madison & Jacob's Wedding
They made sure to ask every question, and make sure every detail was set before the wedding day. Then, on the wedding day, Madison didn't have to worry about anything other than having a great time!
They wanted to do a photo-dash, but instead of running around from table to table, they had each table run up to them at the photo booth station. This really kept those photos fun, but a bit more organized.
They stayed on the dance floor all night long! Encouraging guests to join them dancing late into the night.

Getting Married at Legacy Pointe, Lake Lanier Islands?
Here are a few key details to consider if you are planning your celebration at this gorgeous outside venue:
The ceremony location is in full sun. There wasn't any shade until about 1 hour before sunset. It is a hot location for mid-day ceremonies, so water stations and fans were a major plus!
Many couples we work with at Lanier request water front images. This venue is the perfect spot for many water front images with a variety of spots to utilize. If you are willing to walk down the hill, you can even get right on the water for a few!
If you are trying to decide between a room at the Lodge or a Cabin for getting ready, consider travel time. The cabins allow for more guests to stay together and a larger space for hair and make up, however, a longer travel time needed to be considered instead of a short walk to this venue located right at the lodge.
The tent space at Legacy Pointe is intimate and extremely transformation, so when at this venue you have essentially a blank canvas! The covered outside space is also a very unique atmosphere.
