Some weddings are unforgettable because of the venue. Others are unforgettable because of the experience. Hannah and Paul's Disney Fairy Tale Wedding was both.

As one of the very first couples to be married at Disney's newest ceremony venue, World Celebration Gardens in EPCOT, their wedding was unlike anything we've ever documented. From a welcome party inside Disney's Hollywood Studios to a midnight ceremony beneath Spaceship Earth, every part of the celebration was thoughtfully designed to create an experience their guests would never forget.

For us at Honeycomb Films, it was an incredible honor to preserve such a unique chapter in Disney wedding history.

Rather than celebrating for just one day, Hannah and Paul created an entire wedding weekend filled with unforgettable experiences for their family and friends. The festivities began with a private welcome party at Disney's Hollywood Studios, where guests enjoyed a dessert party while watching Fantasmic! before spending time together in the Star Wars area of the park. It was a relaxed and exciting way to kick off the weekend while giving everyone the chance to experience Disney together before the wedding day officially began. Looking back now, it feels even more special knowing the Star Wars area would soon close to make way for future expansion, making this celebration a unique moment in Disney history.

Because their ceremony was scheduled for midnight, the timeline looked very different than a traditional wedding day. Instead of rushing through events, the evening unfolded at a relaxed pace, allowing everyone to enjoy dinner together before the excitement truly began. One of the most memorable experiences happened before the ceremony even started. Hannah and Paul, along with their guests, enjoyed a private ride on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It's not every wedding that includes one of Disney World's most popular attractions as part of the celebration, and it perfectly reflected the fun, adventurous spirit of the entire weekend.

As midnight approached, guests made their way into EPCOT's beautiful World Celebration Gardens, becoming some of the very first to witness a wedding in Disney's newest ceremony location. Nestled at the heart of the park, the gardens offer incredible views of Spaceship Earth, creating a backdrop that feels both modern and unmistakably Disney. (disneyweddings.com)

Seeing the park quiet after hours while standing beneath the illuminated icon of EPCOT is an experience that's difficult to describe. The atmosphere was peaceful, intimate, and incredibly magical, everything couples dream of when planning a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding.

It was one of those ceremonies that reminds you why Disney weddings are unlike anything else.

The celebration didn't end when the ceremony was over. The following day, family and friends gathered once again for a reception at Ariel's, one of Disney's waterfront event venues overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon. With panoramic views and an elegant atmosphere, it provided the perfect setting to continue celebrating after such an unforgettable night.

Splitting the ceremony and reception across two days gave everyone the opportunity to fully enjoy each experience without feeling rushed—something that made the entire wedding weekend feel even more intentional.

What We Loved About Hannah and Paul's Wedding

Disney weddings always offer something special, but this one felt truly historic. Documenting one of the first weddings ever held at World Celebration Gardens was an incredible privilege, and filming after the park had closed created opportunities that simply don't exist during regular operating hours. The quiet walkways, glowing lights, and iconic Disney landmarks came together to create a cinematic atmosphere unlike any other.

These are the kinds of weddings that remind us why we love what we do, preserving not only the big moments, but the once-in-a-lifetime experiences that make every couple's story unique.
