Hi! I'm the owner and director behind Honeycomb Films.
Over the years, I've learned that incredible wedding photography isn't created by simply showing up with a camera. It begins months before your wedding through thoughtful planning, clear communication, and understanding what matters most to you.
When your wedding day arrives, my job isn't to ask what comes next, it's to already know. That preparation allows me to focus on what I love most: preserving the genuine moments, relationships, and emotions that make your wedding uniquely yours.
Whether I'm photographing, filming, or leading our team, my goal is always the same: to help you feel comfortable enough to simply enjoy your wedding while we preserve it with care.
Honeycomb is owned by Katelyn and Matthew Pike, led by Katelyn, and supported by a trusted team of photographers, filmmakers, and content creators who share the same approach to every wedding. Every team member is carefully selected, trained, and chosen not only for their talent, but for the way they care for our couples.

Honeycomb was founded by husband-and-wife team Katelyn and Matt, combining a shared passion for creativity and entrepreneurship. When we got married, we found a passion for the wedding industry and preserving weddings with a business built around serving couples well.
While Katelyn leads the business management and is the primary point of contact throughout the experience, Matt plays an important role behind the scenes, filming many weddings, keeping our gear up to date, and helping ensure Katelyn is well taken care of while she cares for her clients.
Matthew does not join Katelyn for every wedding, but she couldn't do any of this without his support!

On many weddings, Katelyn is also your lead, while larger celebrations or multi-day events may include additional trusted team members to ensure every part of your day is beautifully documented.

Katelyn captures the majority of Honeycomb weddings personally. For larger celebrations, weekends with multiple events, or dates with multiple bookings, our trusted team allows us to continue providing the same Honeycomb experience while maintaining the quality, communication, and attention to detail we're known for.
How do you choose your team?
Every photographer, filmmaker, and content creator is carefully selected for both their talent and the way they serve couples. We look for professionals who communicate well, work seamlessly with other vendors, and genuinely care about creating a wonderful experience. Before joining Honeycomb, each team member is trained in our workflow, expectations, and approach so every wedding reflects the same level of care and consistency.
How long have you been photographing weddings?
