Yes! We encourage couples to schedule a discovery call so we can get to know one another, answer your questions, and discuss the vision for your wedding. It's a relaxed conversation designed to help determine the best coverage for your day.
Are your collections customizable?
Absolutely. Every wedding is different, which is why our collections are designed to be flexible. Whether you're looking for photography, videography, content creation, or a combination of services, we'll build a collection around what matters most to you.
Will you help us create our wedding day timeline?
While your planner leads the overall logistics of the day, we'll collaborate with you and your vendor team to build a photography and videography timeline that supports your celebration and allows us to capture your story without making the day feel rushed.
Do you travel?
Yes! We regularly photograph and film weddings throughout Georgia, Florida, and destination locations. Travel is included within our collections, and we'll discuss any unique travel needs during the inquiry process.
Will we work with you throughout the process?
Yes. From your first conversation through planning and final delivery, you'll have direct communication with Katelyn. If your collection includes additional photographers, filmmakers, or content creators, every member of our team is carefully selected and works together using the same approach and standards you've come to expect from Katelyn and Honeycomb.
How long does it take to receive our photos and films?
Delivery timelines vary depending on your collection and the season of your wedding. Throughout the editing process, every image and film is individually reviewed and carefully crafted by Katelyn before being delivered through your personalized online gallery. We never outsource our editing, and we never just copy and paste a preset. We believe in giving your photos and videos the thought and attention they deserve.
Do you help with planning before the wedding?
We'll provide planning guidance, timeline assistance, questionnaires, and recommendations to help the photo+video portion of your day flow naturally while ensuring the moments most important to you have the time and space they deserve. We are not a full service wedding planner and highly recommend you book one.
How do you balance guidance with candid moments?
Our approach is intentional rather than intrusive. We'll offer direction when it's helpful, especially during portraits and getting ready, but we believe many of the most meaningful moments happen naturally. Our goal is to create space for genuine emotion while ensuring you always feel comfortable and supported.
Can you cover more than just the wedding day?
Absolutely. Many of our couples choose to include rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, cultural celebrations, and other events throughout the weekend. Multi-day celebrations allow us to tell a more complete story and create a richer final gallery and film.
What if we don't have a wedding planner?
Many of our couples choose to work with a planner, but if you aren't, we'll still provide guidance on your photography and videography timeline to help ensure your coverage flows smoothly. We do not manage other vendors. We always recommend having a day of coordinator to manage the day's logistics so we can remain focused on documenting your wedding. Your photos will be better for it!
