On May 11, we had the absolute pleasure of capturing Halley and Christopher’s incredible wedding day and let me tell you, this one was unforgettable. Held at the vibrant and modern 42 West Entertainment venue in Atlanta, Georgia, their day was bursting with color, emotion, and a whole lot of dancing.

We began filming at the gorgeous Bellyard Hotel, where the morning light poured in and set the perfect scene for detail shots and getting ready moments. Every item Halley curated, from shoes to stationery, tied together so beautifully and photographed like a dream. But the real showstopper? Her dress. A colorful ballgown that shimmered with shades of pink, blue, and orange, just like her: bold, bright, and entirely unforgettable. Seeing her veil flutter in the light was a vision that set the tone for the entire day.

The ceremony was the perfect balance of humor and heart. The officiant had everyone laughing, but Halley's vows brought tears to so many, including me. Her words were full of warmth and sincerity, and I’ll never forget when she said that Christopher changed her favorite color from red to yellow. That single line said so much about their story, how love can surprise you, soften you, and change you in the most unexpected and beautiful ways.

The reception was a full-on party, thanks to the phenomenal Atlanta Party Fanatic live band. They had the dance floor packed all night and made sure the energy never dipped for even a second. It was one of those receptions where you could truly feel the love and joy in the room from every guest.

As a former film industry professional, Halley understood the creative flow of filming and trusted us completely to take chances and lean into dynamic, cinematic shots. From smooth gimbal movement to dramatic lighting transitions, we had such a blast playing with the visual storytelling of their day. The creative freedom we were given allowed us to craft a feature film we’re so proud of.

It reminded me why we do what we do and how much our couples' trust means to us.
