Amanda and Alex are true Disney lovers, and their wedding day reflected that passion in every way. What made their day especially unique was their dedication to family, from their son to their nieces and nephews, they wanted the kids to have just as much fun as the adults. With multiple celebrations across Walt Disney World, this weekend was nothing short of magical.
Engagement Session at Port Orleans Riverside
The festivities began the day before the wedding with a relaxed story session (what we call photo and video engagement sessions) at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside. This charming resort provided the perfect backdrop, with its Southern-inspired architecture, gorgeous fountains and stair cases, and many quiet corners. Amanda and Alex strolled the grounds, laughed together, and soaked up the warm Florida sunshine before the big day.
Getting Ready & Pre-Ceremony Moments
On the morning of their wedding, Amanda and Alex got ready at Port Orleans Riverside, surrounded by family. The light blue and white color palette added an airy, elegant feel to the day. Before the ceremony, we captured portraits of the couple and their loved ones in the gorgeous Oak Manor Lawn. Everyone was relaxed, joyful, and excited for what was to come.

Amanda & Alex chose Disney’s Wedding Pavilion for their ceremony, located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Few venues are as iconic as Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, and Amanda and Alex’s ceremony was nothing short of beautiful. Their son and nieces and nephews played special roles, with one unforgettable moment when the ring bearer spotted his dad and ran joyfully down the aisle — a moment that had everyone smiling.
The light blue and white floral arrangements at the altar matched their clean and timeless style perfectly. Surrounded by family and friends, Amanda and Alex exchanged vows in a short ceremony filled with meaning, laughter, and love.
A Brunch Reception at Summerour Studio
After the ceremony, guests headed to Summerour Studio at Disney’s Grand Floridian for a bright and airy brunch reception. This was such a refreshing and unique choice! With the midday sun streaming in, the atmosphere felt relaxed and joyful.
Family and friends shared speeches, while kids napped during cocktail hour — a true picture of balance between celebration and family comfort. The biggest surprise? Mickey and Minnie made a special appearance, dancing and posing for photos, creating unforgettable memories for both kids and adults.
Fireworks Party at EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion
To end their wedding weekend, Amanda and Alex hosted a private fireworks party at EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion.
This was our first time capturing a celebration here, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots! The view of the fireworks was incredible!! Even the lower bursts lit up the sky right beside the pavilion, creating a breathtaking experience for everyone. (and a litle bit of a startling one for us haha!)
This intimate gathering was the perfect finale to their Disney wedding: laughter, fireworks, and family gathered together under the night sky.
