A Weekend of Disney Magic: The LaManna Wedding at Walt Disney World Tower of Terror

The LaManna wedding weekend was truly something special. Proof that even with a few curveballs, love and a little Disney magic can make everything fall beautifully into place.

Stephanie and Matthew’s weekend began at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, where she got ready in a stunning Club Level Suite overlooking both Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. After an intimate first look, the couple and their loved ones took a moment to relax with a celebratory drink at the bar. The calm before a very memorable storm.

Rain arrived quickly, prompting a complete change of plans. But thanks to the incredible team at Disney’s Fairytale Weddings, every detail was flawlessly reimagined. Their outdoor ceremony and reception were moved inside... and honestly, the backup plan may have been even more magical than the original.

Upon arriving at Hollywood Studios, we were escorted behind the scenes by a Disney executive for portraits inside the actual lobby of the Tower of Terror! An exclusive area few guests ever experience. From there, the ceremony took place in one of the most moody, atmospheric locations imaginable: at the exit of the ride itself. Stephanie and Matthew were among the very first couples to ever get married inside the Tower of Terror. Talk about unforgettable.

Even in the pouring rain, Sunset Boulevard was glowing. We captured some of the most romantic and cinematic rainy-day shots... umbrellas, soaked cobblestones, and all. (And yes, I did carry an umbrella, a monopod, and a 50-pound wagon of camera gear through the downpour... shoutout to the best media guide hype woman ever!)

Later into the night, The Brown Derby was transformed into an elegant and intimate celebration space, complete with a sweetheart table and dance floor nestled in the center of the restaurant. The evening was filled with laughter, love, and a surprise appearance from Donald Duck. Stephanie even gifted Matthew a Donald Duck-themed cake!

But their celebration didn’t stop there!

Sunday kicked off with a private brunch at The Capital Grille, where the couple shared a beautiful meal with family and friends. We slipped away for a few sultry bar portraits, capturing the joy and romance of the weekend in a completely different vibe.

And to close out the weekend, Stephanie and Matthew hosted a private EPCOT dessert party in the UK Pavilion! Guests were treated to Mickey-shaped sweets, margaritas, and a front-row seat to EPCOT Forever. As a final surprise, everyone headed to France for a private ride on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.

For a celebration this unforgettable, Stephanie and Matthew chose our full-day video coverage. With two videographers on-site, we were able to film from multiple perspectives, capturing both the quiet in-between moments and the grand surprises. Their final film was a cinematic feature without interviews, allowing the emotion of the day to speak for itself through movement, vows, speeches, music, and ambiance. From behind-the-scenes details to the spark of magic at every turn, nothing was missed.

It was a weekend full of unforgettable experiences, love, and so much Disney joy. And though Matthew wasn’t totally sold on having a videographer at first… let’s just say we won him over by the end of it!!
