Wedding Spotlight: Stephanie and Matthew in Walt Disney World

Updated: Sep 7, 2023

The LaManna wedding weekend at Walt Disney World was truly magical! Though... the end plan wasn't what they originally planned, this weekend turned out to be PERFECT in every way!

Stephanie got ready at the gorgeous Disney's Coronado Spring Resort in a Club Level Suite! There was an amazing view of both Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios from her tower room. After their first look, the couple and their family even had a moment to enjoy a drink at the bar!

The rain moved in fast, and plans had to change rapidly, but her planning team with Disney's Fairytale Weddings truly worked their magic to bring her outdoor ceremony and reception inside The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror hotel and The Brown Derby Restaurant.

Once we arrived to Hollywood Studios, we were whisked away by a Disney executive to the Tower of Terror LOBBY! YEP! We were able to do couple's portrait behind the rope and go into one of the most exclusive areas in Walt Disney World. The executive was so kind, and told us he wanted to do what he could to make sure the couple got the full Tower of Terror experience even though they could no longer have their ceremony and reception outside on Sunset BLVD. However - I think the ceremony backup was even better!

For their ceremony, they were one of the first ever couple's to get married INSIDE the Tower of Terror. They were able to set up the ceremony at the exit of the ride, in the most beautiful and moody spot. Perfect for this couple.

After the ceremony, and even though it was pouring down rain, we walked Sunset BLVD with the couple capturing some of the most gorgeous rainy shots.

Have you ever tried to carry an umbrella, a very expensive camera on a monopod, AND pull a wagon with like 50 lbs of thousands of dollars of equipment (covered in just a flimsy poncho) that could be ruin in the rain!? BECAUSE I HAVE haha! And man I wish I had a BTS photo of that... cause it was hilarious. Our sweet media guide wasn't able to help me much cause she couldn't touch my equipment... but she sure was encouraging!!! HAHA!

We were then brought into the Brown Derby restaurant that was completely transformed for their Celebration. Again, Disney truly worked magic for them! They cleared out the entire middle section of the restaurant so they could have a small sweetheart table and dance floor.

The evening was full of great food and laughter. They even had a special guest appearance from Donald Duck! And Stephanie surprised her groom with the most adorable Donald themed cake.

BUT THE WEDDING DIDN'T END THERE!

Did I mention all the above happened till 3AM!? But that wasn't stopping us from a great second day to their wedding weekend.

On Sunday, we join the couple off property at The Capital Grille. There was a gorgeous private room set up just for them to spend sometime with friends and family. My favorite party? Stealing the couple for a few steamy bar photos!

But wait, there is more! On Sunday night, the couple treated their guests to a dessert party in EPCOT at the World Showcase in England. They enjoyed delicious Mickey shaped treats, margaritas, and a private showing of EPCOT Forever. After the fireworks we were all invited to go to France and ride Remy's Ratatouille Adventure!

It was such a perfect wedding weekend. And thought Matthew wasn't crazy about the idea of getting a videographer... I think we won him over ;)

Check out their Teaser video here!

Feature Film Coming Soon

Here are some of our favorite photos from Sunday!
