Wedding Spotlight: Ashlyn & Andrew The Engine Room Monroe, Georgia

Updated: Sep 7, 2023

Ashlyn & Andrew's wedding day was full of class, colorful florals, and the prettiest details I've seen.

We've been looking forward to their big day for a long time! And were so excited when it arrived. Arriving to The Engine Room in Monroe, we started to get so excited. the rustic, yet elegant feel was a nice change of pace.

We started the day with Ashlyn's detail items, and GIRL! She had some of the best. Here are some details she included that we loved:

- Her hairband

- All jewelry pieces

- Fun ring boxes

- Invitations

- Groom's bowtie

- Their wedding monogram

- The vases used for their unity ceremony

She got creative with that we gave us - and that makes it so much fun for us to do details!

After wrapping those up, our good photographer Casey arrived. Casey with Pinnacle Photography is a great friend of ours and we just LOVE shooting with her. We always know it is going to be a good day when we work together!

The space was also perfect for bridal portraits to escape the heat of the Georgia summer!

The ceremony space was just perfect for there 200+ guests and it was just stunning with the gorgeous natural light. I love how they did a plant unity ceremony and invited all immediate family to add dirt to the plant pot.

After the ceremony, we got to enjoy some sweet moments with the couple and even a stop at the Ice Cream truck they had! It was such a fun touch for their cocktail hour.

Their reception included the cutest armadillo cake I've ever seen (and the only one I've ever seen) and was full of fun line dances! The night wrapped up with an outfit change and a sparkler exit!

Here is a little Teaser into their day:
