We are Matt & Katelyn - the husband & wife duo behind Honeycomb Films. We put our heart and soul into this business with the goal of creating personalized, heartfelt products of our clients sweetest moments in life.
We strive to create a video for you as unique as your love. We do not us a cookie cutter or template model, and build every video from the ground up - starting with music and ending with those beautiful, colorful final touches. Your video will get the time and attention it deserves - always.

Our Story
Like I said... we met on a dating app - Bumble. And quickly we were head over heels in love. Fast forward a year - Matt bought an engagement ring and spent the next 6 months planning the most EPIC proposal in Walt Disney World. With a scavenger hunt throughout Magic Kingdom, 19 of our closest friends surprised Katelyn with clues on where to go next. She had NO idea all these people were in the park, let alone in Orlando, FL. She had been visiting Disney World for her first ever solo trip and then to meet up with her best friend for her birthday. After her parents surprised her at her favorite Magic Kingdom restaurant, they pointed her to the Liberty Bridge to meet her prince charming for her dream proposal. Then fast forward one year, and we were married at the Walt Disney World Wedding Pavilion! A true happily ever after.
While planning our wedding, we got an interest in videography and what it would take to be a wedding videographer. After meeting our wedding videographers, learning more about the business, and tons of trial and error... we fell in love with capturing couple's biggest moment. Katelyn has love for story telling and editing, while Matt understands the equipment and shot composition side of things - and together we make the perfect team! We feel honored being welcomed into a couple's big day to not only tell the story of their day - but their entire love story. Video captures moments photos just cannot - the laughter of your girls while getting ready, the crack of the groom's voice as he reads his vows, and of course all the grandparents busting a move on the dance floor. Let's make sure all those sweet moments are captured!

In creating this company, we made a promise to ourselves to not just be another vendor. Though we love all our vendor friends, we decided to always create a real relationship with our couples. You aren't a transaction to us - you have a story to be told and have entrusted us to tell that story. We hold that very close to our heart and believe that the best way to tell your story is to truly get to know you on a personal level. We are here from the moment you book us till after your wedding day to help guide you through this process - this includes being your biggest fan day of. Trust me, I'll be your new best friend ;)

Katelyn Pike
Hi! I'm Katelyn :) In addition to Honeycomb, I am a marketing professional for the non-profit Lighthouse Family Retreat. I also love spending my time crafting and even run my own Etsy shop - Bitternutlaneco! I am the biggest Disney fan you will ever meet and would spend all my time in Walt Disney World if Matt would let me. When it comes to Honeycomb I love storytelling and seeing the story of a film come together.

Matthew Pike
Hello, I'm Matt! In addition to Honeycomb, I am a middle school computer science teacher in Forsyth, GA. I also enjoy spending my time outside of work and Honeycomb streaming video game on Twitch. Check me out at PikeontheMic. When it comes to Honeycomb, I enjoy spending time studying color science and coloring grading films to create a beautiful, eye pleasing film.
